Malaria PF / Pan AG Card

Pan Ag Card is a rapid test for qualitative detection of Malaria antigen in human whole blood. This test is based upon pLDH and pAldolase detection. The pair antibodies of pLDH for Pf and p Aldolase for Pan detection are being used in test formulation.

pLDH is good marker for detection of live parasites. We have incorporated anti pLDH specific to Pf. Anti pAldolase specific to Pan (all species) have been used for the detection of all species of plasmodium including Pv, Po, Pm and Pf.

This test can be used where false positive reactions are observed with HRP-II based tests in case of Pf infection. It has been reported that HRP-II is being detected in some of cases even after medication & anti malarial therapy. Oscar Malaria Pf / Pan Ag Card has pLDH for Pf and it will detect only live parasites. No test line will be observed for pLDH in case of treated patients of Pf infection.

Pan Ag Card is available in 40T pack along with buffer vials, sample droppers and product insert.

Our test has very simple procedure. Just add 5µl of whole blood followed by 2 drops of buffer in sample / buffer well and read result within 5-20 minutes.

The tests have been evaluated with known positive and negative samples and results are very satisfactory and comparable to the leading brands available in the market.Kit can be stored at 2-30°C or at room temperature.

Malaria PV/PF AG Card Test

Pf Ag test intended used for qualitative & differential detection of malarial antigens of Pv & Pf in human whole blood. The test is based upon detection of pLDH for Pv and pHRP-II for Pf.

The test has been formulated using monoclonal antibodies of pLDH (specific to Pv) and monoclonal anti pHRP-II (specific to Pf). Incorporation of specific & monoclonal antibodies in test formulation makes this test highly sensitive and specific.
